Recently, I tried the “Pressure Points and Massage for Depression” added to this site with my wife. She deals with astigmatism, and with our young kids running around, her eyes get tired. So, I mostly focus on massaging her shoulders and up.
For eye strain, I press or tap around the bone under her eyes, between her cheeks, her eyebrows, temples, and the spot between her eyes.
Surprisingly, she loves it when I use my fingertips to gently move across her forehead side to side and up and down.
Beyond that, I worked on the pressure points from the personal stories here, plus almost her whole head with my fingertips or light fist taps. She says the area around her ears feels good with a bit of pain.
It’s not in the stories yet, but I found a book at a bookstore called “Get Super Healthy Just by Pulling Your Ears
” by chance. I didn’t have time to read it, but I tried pulling her ears, pressing the base, and the inner part. Afterward, her head felt fuzzy, warmed up, and she slept better.
I haven’t looked into it deeply, so I’m not sure if it’s truly effective. But if pulling ears can boost health, it might help with depression too.
